Gardener

The High Commission of the Republic of Kenya in Kigali–Rwanda invites applications for the position of Gardener.

Duties & Responsibilities

• a) Cutting/mowing grass at the Official Residence.
• b) Tending to flowers, plants and fence.
• c) General cleaning and keeping tidy of the Official Residence compound.
• d) Coordinating servicing of lawn mower and generator.
• e) Assist during Mission events.
• f) Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Secondary education (Grade 12).
2. At least one year experience in a similar position.
3. Good interpersonal skills.
4. The ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
5. Proficiency in English, Kiswahili and Kinyarwanda (oral and written).
6. Flexible to work beyond working hours.
7. Professionalism, integrity & transparency, confidentiality, teamwork and accountability.
