Message from the High Commissioner

On behalf of the entire team, I would like to extend a warm welcome to the website of the High Commission of the Republic of Kenya in Kigali. Our website is designed to cater to your needs and aims to provide current information related to activities carried out to by the High Commission in its endeavour to fulfil its mandate as Kenya’s representation in Rwanda.

My vision for the High Commission is to ensure that the relations between the Republic of Kenya and Rwanda soar to their highest level during my tenure as Kenya’s High Commissioner to Rwanda. We will also strive to build on the existing bilateral and diplomatic engagements to bring together players in both the public and private sector to promote the economic, cultural and social ties that unify the people of our two great nations.

The High Commission will continue to raise the profile of the Kenyan Diaspora Community in Rwanda to ensure that it thrives under the umbrella of Kenya’s Foreign Policy. It is my desire to work closely with the Diaspora Community to ensure that it takes part in Kenya’s Development agenda under the Government of Kenya’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformational Agenda.
